I’m Katie, a certified Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) therapist. My work is deeply rooted in helping clients navigate life’s blocks—whether in relationships, career, or personal health—and is especially transformative for women dealing with anxiety, emotional eating, chronic health conditions/ unexplained pain, low self-esteem, and self-worth challenges.
My journey into this work was born out of years of personal struggle, including disordered eating, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, pmdd, co-dependence and low self-worth. I felt like something was wrong with me for my entire life, and approached my healing journey as someone who was broken and in need of fixing.
I undertook a profound 10-year personal healing journey with a traditional psychotherapist when my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given just a few months to live. I explored my family history, trauma, and attachment styles and learnt so much about my ‘process’. But despite gaining insight, I found that real transformation only began when I worked with a Somatic Therapist who included Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing. This somatic work was when I first felt safety in my body, learned to regulate my nervous system, and began the profound journey of reparenting my inner child. Today, I live with a deep sense of peace and purpose, and I no longer identify as a victim of my past or as someone always in need of healing.
Alongside my personal healing journey, I have continuously studied and immersed myself in learning. I worked as a nutrition and fitness coach, where I noticed that while many of my clients achieved remarkable results, others struggled to make lasting changes. This curiosity led me to dive deeper, studying Somatic Trauma Informed Coaching, Rapid Transformational Therapy and Mind-Body Eating Coaching.
My approach as a Coach and Therapist combines the science of nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and parts work to support clients in profound, gentle transformation.
